The Department of Youth Resources & Sports aspires to work for the wholesome growth and development of the youth section in the State. In order to achieve this, the Department has come up with various innovative and challenging ideas to motivate and inspire the youths by organizing various social events like Youth Festivals, Adventure Camps, Yoga Sessions, Talent Hunt Competitions, Art & Music Events, Workshops & Seminars, bedsides conducting various sports activities all year long.
State Govt. will be organizing a Job Oriented SkillDevelopment Mela with the support of DGETduring 13th December- 17th December, 2016. Around 8000 youths are expected to attend thefair and enroll for various training programs.
For decades, NYLC has hosted a summer camp that powers the next generation of leaders. Racism, classism, and oppression affect everyone, but young people are among the most vulnerable. The National Youth Leadership Training gives young people the support and resources to address these issues – and make meaningful change happen.
Youth is an experience that may shape an individual’s level of dependency, which can be marked in various ways according to different cultural perspectives. Personal experience is marked by an individual’s cultural norms or traditions, while a youth’s level of dependency means the extent to which they still rely on their family emotionally and economically.
Every youth leader needs a bevy of games and activities on hand for youth group. Keeping a ‘stock’ of games and ideas to use in a pinch will prove to be a lifesaver. Design your activities with your group member’s ages in mind, and the kids will have fun no matter how silly or serious the activities are.
